A poem written in March 2020 whe

n our country went into its first full lockdown and the pandemic took off.

Silver Linings and all that jazz

Reshaping our thinking for new way of living

The visual symphony of…..

People connecting, reaching out

People being curious and questioning.

A new appetite for hope and purpose has been born

Shedding the baggage

Letting go of the need for control

Letting go of materialism,

Interesting when it's taken away what you see.

Letting go of hurts, resentments and things that really don't matter

Letting go of ideals

Embracing a different kind of freedom that can’t be hemmed in

Holding on to relationships - Faith

Holding on to love - old connections, inviting new connections

Holding on to insights, seeking understanding

Holding on to laughter, exercise, freedom of mind and thought

There are so many things that this global pandemic can't take away from us.

Hold on to those

Much love - JT
